Testing and Quality Engineering
We are professionals in providing testing services. We will make your software testing more efficient, reduce IT costs, and ensure quality at all stages of your product's development.
Do Analysis Where Quality Starts with Requirements
Tesena is known for software testing and Quality Engineering. That’s exactly why we are developing IT & Business Analysis as a natural part of high-quality software delivery – from understanding business needs and designing technically feasible solutions to verifying that the final solution truly delivers value.
We are building expertise at the intersection of Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, and Quality Engineering. We are looking for analysts who can connect business, IT, development, and quality, and who can think about solutions in a broader context.
If we don’t currently have a specific project that matches your profile, you can join our talent pool by completing a short Skill Matrix.
Quality Doesn’t Start with Testing
In many IT projects, the biggest problems don’t arise during development or testing, but much earlier - from unclear requirements, misunderstood needs, missing acceptance criteria, or overlooked impacts of changes on systems, data, and integrations.
That’s why we are expanding our Quality Engineering expertise to include IT Business and Systems Analysis. We want to address quality from the very beginning – when requirements are defined, solutions are designed, system impacts are assessed, and the first project risks emerge.
As an IT Business Analyst at Tesena, you will help:
- translate business needs into functional and technically feasible requirements,
- analyze the impact of changes on processes, systems, data, and integrations,
- design solution options in collaboration with architects and development teams,
- prepare requirements that are clear, feasible, and testable,
- connect business, IT, development, and QA throughout the entire delivery process.
From Business Need to a Functional IT Solution
An IT Business Analyst at Tesena is more than just an intermediary between stakeholders and the development team. You understand business needs while also being able to work with system impacts, data, integrations, and the technical constraints of the solution.
You help uncover the real problem, structure information, identify connections, and design solutions that make sense from a business, technical, and quality perspective.
Depending on the project, you may work on:
- business process and requirements analysis,
- systems and application analysis,
- API and integration scenarios,
- data flows and data structures,
- defining functional and non-functional requirements,
- user scenarios and use cases,
- acceptance criteria,
- impact analysis,
- regulatory changes,
- digital products, customer portals, and internal systems.
You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, developers, architects, UX specialists, testers, and business stakeholders.
Projects Where Analysis Really Matters
Our clients operate in environments where the quality and accuracy of requirements can have a major impact on project success.
Typical industries and areas include:
- banking,
- insurance,
- automotive,
- telecommunications,
- pharmaceuticals,
- logistics,
- enterprise systems,
- digital channels and customer portals.
In these environments, high-quality analysis helps reduce risks, accelerate delivery, and prevent costly changes.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re not focused solely on knowledge of a specific methodology or tool. We’re looking for people who can see the bigger picture, communicate across teams, and turn complex problems into clear, practical solutions.
We’re interested in professionals such as:
- IT Business Analysts,
- Systems and Application Analysts,
- Business Analysts with a strong technical background,
- Test Analysts looking to move towards IT Analysis,
- consultants with experience in processes, data, integrations, or enterprise systems.
Experience with tools and technologies such as Jira, Confluence, BPMN, UML, Enterprise Architect, SQL, Power BI, or Postman is an advantage. You don’t need to be a developer, but you should understand the technical context of modern IT systems.

- mentoring from experienced colleagues,

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Tesena still primarily a software testing company?
Yes. Software testing and Quality Engineering remain a core part of Tesena. That’s exactly why Business Analysis is a natural fit for us. We want to address quality long before the testing phase - starting with a clear understanding of business needs, requirements, risks, and system impacts.
Do you focus on Business Analysis or IT Analysis?
Both. We are building expertise at the intersection of Business Analysis, IT & Systems Analysis, and Quality Engineering. Depending on the project, the role may focus more on business processes and stakeholders, or on systems, data, integrations, and technical solution design.
Will I work internally at Tesena or on a client project?
Typically, you’ll work on client projects. At the same time, our Business Analysis Competence Center will provide you with professional support, methodological guidance, mentoring, and opportunities to share knowledge and experience.
What if there isn’t a suitable position open right now?
Complete the Skill Matrix. If your experience matches the types of projects we work on, we’ll add you to our Business Analysis talent pool and get in touch when a suitable opportunity comes up.
Is the role also suitable for testers who want to transition into Business Analysis?
Yes, if you have an analytical mindset, enjoy communicating with stakeholders, can structure information effectively, and are interested in requirements, processes, and solution design. A background in testing can be a significant advantage - especially when working with acceptance criteria, risks, and requirements quality.
Which tools are useful to know?
Typical tools include Jira, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, BPMN/UML modeling tools, Miro, and Figma, as well as SQL, Power BI, Postman, or other tools depending on the project. However, more important than knowing a specific set of tools is the ability to understand the problem and choose the right way to describe and structure it.
Do I need to have strong technical skills?
You don’t need to be a developer. However, for IT Business Analysis, it’s important to understand the technical context - such as APIs, databases, integrations, data structures, system dependencies, and how changes may impact the overall architecture. The more senior the role, the stronger the technical understanding we typically expect.
How long does the recruitment process take?
For a specific open role, we aim to keep the recruitment process quick and straightforward. We usually start with an initial online call, followed by an expert interview. Depending on the position, the next step may be a case study or an in-person meeting at Tesena.
Can I work remotely?
It depends on the specific client and project. Many projects offer a combination of remote and office-based work. For some international or specific projects, a more flexible remote setup may also be possible.
