Usually there are two rounds. In the first we will discuss the options for our cooperation over the phone. We will clarify our mutual expectations and invite you for an in-person meeting. During the meeting you will meet a representative of our team of testers. We will explore your analytical and logical thinking and we will verify your pre-requisites for the position.

Majority of projects involve both manual and automated testing, in some cases only FE but primarily BE and databases. Within the framework of integration and system testing, functional and end-to-end tests are most often performed. In case of non-funcitonal tests mostly performance or penetration testing. In order for testing to be meaningful, thorough test analysis is also needed. Work is predominantly done either in an Agile SCRUM or Kanban environment.

We work for clients in banking, automotive, pharmaceutical, telco and other areas. We primarily test web applications or internal systems such as CRM, ERP, etc. We also test mobile applications and embedded systems.

At some clients there are up to twenty of us, other teams are smaller usually around three people.

The training provides an opportunity to gain experience with the aforementioned topics through brief introductions followed by relevant exercises, allowing plenty of space for participants to share their experiences. During the training, you will also practice sample questions.

This training is suitable for anyone working in high-performance IT delivery teams (such as DevOps and Scrum).
Relevant roles include business analysts, product owners, developers, administrators, quality engineers, testers, users, scrum masters, agile coaches, release train engineers, etc.

This training requires a basic understanding of information technology, teamwork, and the Agile way of working. No specific certifications are required.

The exam lasts 1 hour and consists of 30 questions. The exam, valued at €235.00, is included in the course price. No discount applies to the exam cost. If you wish to schedule a retake, you can do so here.

Most projects offer the possibility to work from home 2-3 days a week. Full remote is possible in case of international projects.

Around 70 experienced testers work in Tesena. You may meet some of them directly at the client project, others at workshops, trainings, within internal work teams or during individual mentoring.

Senior testers will start a project within a week or two from joining the company, but this always depends on the current situation. Junior employees usually start 2 weeks at the soonest after going through all necessary training courses.

Most clients are in Prague. We also have clients outside of Prague and abroad. In those cases, we test remotely, or we send out parts of the team there for a day or two in a week.

We have project that take months, others go on for years. You do not have to be a part of the project from the start or to the end. It will always depend on the development plan and the needs of the client. The more you try out the more you will learn and grow.

Usually it is not a problem to complete your certification during the first three months from joining the company. We think that educating our testers is very important which is why we pay for all your training and certification. We well prepare you for the certification and will give you all the necessary materials.
