The workshop is focused on the role of testing in an agile environment. We will discuss different approaches to quality assessment and software testing used in common agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, or LeSS.
Because the best way to learn something is by doing it, we will run a simulation of agile development and testing. We will use timed and tested method Lego4scrum with an extension for agile testing.
Lucie is an experienced Test and Project manager. She works for the different clients, but she is lately focused on work for banks and telco operators and prefers projects from the IT area and transformation projects. As a lecturer for Tesena and Czech Society for Quality, Lucie is bringing new methods of learning such as LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method. She is currently working for Zoom International as Quality Assurance Director. Lucie is an agile enthusiast, Certified Scrum Master, and Certified Test Manager.
Where you see Software Testing in future (in next 5 to 10 years)?
5 to 10 years is relatively near future, so I am sure we will follow current trends: automation and using AI and machine learning for avoiding unnecessary manual testing. On the other hand, we will lay stress on user experience, and we will work closely with our colleagues who conduct research or develop a customer journey.
Is testing a long-term dream job forever or just on step/stop on your life journey?
I never dreamed of being a tester as the job itself probably didn’t exist when I was a child. But being focused on software quality, working in testing is not a choice but inevitable.
